RIVERSIDE COTTAGE, Northumberland – A period setting in an idyllic village

Riverside Cottage is blessed to be located in the midst of ethereal surroundings overlooking the River Coquet. The Cottage is set in the heart of West Thirston, a rural village in Northumberland.

Relaxing on the grounds amidst beautiful views of River Coquet is a favourite pastime of visitors. There is a post office, bakery, café, restaurants and a country pub within walking distance of the Cottage.

Northumberland is home to historic castles, beaches and several golf courses.

Our Cottage offers two bedrooms for four people. The features include:

Places to See

The Northumberland Coastal Path is host to the best coastal walking in entire Europe. The Path stretches for 64 miles from Cresswell in the south to Berwick-upon-Tweed in the north. The walk is divided into 6 navigable stages. You should not miss the stunning coast!

Hill-walking in the Cheviot Hills is a favourite with visitors. Other places to visit include Whitehouse Farm, Farne Island Boat Trips, The Alnwick Garden, Newcastle City Centre and the Quayside.
